I’m writing this post sitting in bed watching the Biggest Loser. I love this show but it really hasn’t inspired me as much as I’d hoped it would.

Nonetheless, I did make it to yoga this morning. Today’s teacher was Lisa. I really missed Lisa. I didn’t know how much I did until I was in her class again. She is so hands on in the postures – it really helps everyone in the class. She’s not scared of sweaty, smelly people like I am. She wraps her arms around you or around the position and shows you where you can go.

She also gives you mini backrub during the on the floor, on your belly Bikram yoga poses – which is just a slice of heaven in the middle of those postures.

Today’s posture is Standing Head to Knee Pose or Dandayamana-Janushirasana. I took a few steps back in this pose by missing so much class. My legs aren’t as strong, but they’re getting there. Unfortunately my balance was getting better with having my forehead to knee but that was lost and I’m trying to build that up again too.

I do think this posture does wonders for my thighs not rubbing against each other. As crazy as this sounds, if I’m consistent with yoga I don’t have the rubbing thigh problem. Curious to know what would happen if I’d stay even more consistent.

Got my period today. I hate the rag and doing yoga – but I’m going again tomorrow!  Holla!  Namaste.
