So yesterday Bill came to class again.  It is fun to have him in class and experience all these instructors that I have been talking about for a few weeks now.

Today’s pose is balancing stick pose of the Bikram yoga postures.   This one is done 4 times (or only 2 in the 6:20am class) and the cardio pump you get from just 40 seconds (10 seconds each – 2 on both sides) is equivalent to running 3 miles.  Nice.

My biggest struggle in this posture is getting my hips aligned.  The hip of the raised leg is always raised more than the hip of the other leg.  They are supposed to be in line, but they are not.  I feel like I will fall over if I try to get them inline.

Yesterday’s (I am writing this on Day 49, that’s why I keep saying “yesterday”) instructor was Lisa and Bill liked her very much, which I thought he would.  She is a very hands on instructor, so that makes class more interesting, as you tend to learn a little bit more.  There were also only 7-8 people in class, which is what I just love!  So class was wonderful yesterday.
