Well, I just checked to see how many of you are actually still reading my Yoga blog which has become totally lame – and for that I am sorry.
There’s 9 of you left. I had 22 before all this stray cat and sick business. Oh well. I can understand how people might think I am a total lame ass and gave up. I assure you, though, I did not. God bless you loyal followers – you’re either lazy about unsubscribing or are true fans.
I wanted to return to yoga on Monday, but had a horrible sinus headache and then thought that a 90 minute class on Tuesday would be too much. So I waited for the Wednesday morning 60 minute at 6:20 am. I think I made a good choice because today’s class kicked my ass…well, of course it did because I am still not 100% and because my lard ass hasn’t been to yoga.
And let me tell you about my lard ass – I have been craving to feel good and to be able to sweat. I tried to over the weekend, but everytime I raised my heart rate I got dizzy and lightheaded and had to sit down! Not cool. Physical weakness is not something I enjoy!
Today’s pose is Stretching Pose. In the photo directly above, you can tell that I cannot touch my toes with my forehead. This is something I used to be able to do and hope to do again someday. I wonder if it is a flexibility issue or a my-fat-belly-is-in-the-way problem.
Since daylight savings has begun, the morning instructors think it’s cool to turn off the overhead lights and do the class in the dark – or from the light of the windows. NOT COOL. Lights off to me = time to sleep! I am okay if they turn off the lights in spine twisting pose or something like that, but PEOPLE!! not when I’m in the middle of camel!
So there’s only a few more photos until I need a new set. Get excited. However, the advancement will not be as exciting. Boo. Namaste.

We’re not just lazy…we’re still cheering you on (stray cat and all!)!
thanks for the cheers!! stray cat got a home!!
