Well, today marks 6 months into this thing and I wouldn’t say I am doing that great of a job. Damnit.
The teacher this morning was not Maria – which means Maria was probably on vacation – at least I hope that’s the case.
It was another girl and I don’t know her name. Her voice was a little on the squeaky mouse side of things, but I eventually got used to it and by the end of class I liked it.
Of course, I liked it too because she walked around the class and corrected people’s postures that they were doing incorrectly and I really like that as sometimes it pains me to see people doing the postures wrong.
I am by no means a posture expert, but really, some folks do the half moon series, for example, totally wrong and I wonder if they have lower back pain the next day.
Today’s pose is Locust Pose or Salabhasana. I am doing better with this one, although these photos seem to be no reflection of the advancements that I have made in this pose – maybe one of these days I will be able to show the advancement I have made. Of course, my pant legs that are hanging down don’t really show how far off the ground my knees are either!
I’m headed to the lake – so Happy Fourth to everyone!
Namaste.
