Man!  I can definitely tell when I have taken a few days off of yoga.  I was really out of it today and not as limber as I will probably be tomorrow.

Today’s pose is Camel Pose (Ustrasana).  Camel Pose and I have a love/hate relationship.  Since Camel is only one of two back bending postures (the other, of course, is the half moon series) in the series of Bikram yoga postures, it is always a challenge.

The Camel Pose really targets cleansing of your liver.  Sometimes that flushing sensation of cleansing your liver, ends up making you nauseous or a little lite headed.  It just means that you are getting rid of toxins and it is best to stay in the pose.  I suppose that’s why I have a hate relationship with it, because I hate that feeling, but I do feel refreshed when it is over with.
