Today’s class was great – there were only 4 people taking the class – including me – and everyone was synchronized.

It makes for a nicer class when everyone synchronized. I feel more balanced and tend to have more energy.

I’ve gotta make it more often to yoga as my feet have been hurting and I notice that if I don’t go for awhile and go again that they hurt and cramp. There’s just nothing that seems to make my feet work and stretch Ike yoga does.

Today’s posture is the Bow Pose or Dhanurasana Bikram Yoga pose. I suck at this posture now. Seriously suck at it. I’m so tight and fat I can barely reach my feet -awesome!

I also struggled in hero’s pose and rabbit today.

The reason why today’s post is titled, “Timeout 1, 2, 3” is because today’s teacher, Barb, likes to say, “1, 2, 3” for the time that it takes you to get out of a floor posture and get back into savasana.  I used to like it, but today it drove me crazy because it reminded me of being 8 years old and my mom putting me in time-out at the count of 3.  What are your thoughts on whether or not I should say something to her?  I sorta hate it.

I cannot believe I was able to get out of bed this morning.  I wanted to get to the 6:30am class because I have a business class tonight, so the longer span I have to work on my blog writing the better (of course, I am talking about my other blogs, not just this one).

I also spent a signifcant amount of time downloading the photos from last night’s “photo shoot” and naming them so that they make sense and are easier to load onto the blog when I am writing on a a daily basis.

So it’s been from 1/8 to 2/22 on the photo shoot.  I am not sure if there has been much improvement in my body, which is sorta the reason I wanted to take photos.  Bummer.  Makes me want to avoid photo shoots in the future.

I was so tired on this photo shoot too.  I wish there was a way to have someone take photos of me during a regular class, so that I could kill two birds with one stone.  But can you imagine having a photographer in class?  How narrisitic can you appear?

I wanted to point out my Yogitoes Pink SKIDLESS towel in these photos – it is for Breast Cancer Awareness.  I really like it because when I am breathing in my boobs in the rabbit pose, I feel like I can appreciate it all the more.  On a more serious note, if you have a Yogitoes SKIDLESS towel, then any yoga mat ends up being the best yoga mat and you don’t have to worry about looking for yoga sticky mats, as this will make your mat sticky!

Anyway, I thought I’d share my photo from 1/8 of the Standing Deep Breathing, so you can compare with me.  Not Good!  Doesn’t look like I have lost weight and I am wondering if I have gained…but then again, the shirt from 1/8 is larger on me than the shirt from 2/22. 

I guess we’ll see from future comparisons in other Bikram Yoga postures, how it’s going!

As far as class was concerned, it was pretty uneventful other than I felt like it was one of those classes that flew by because I was in a daze the whole time!
